Here's a list of artists that use New Vintage Amplifiers

The Jealous Sound and New Vintage Amplifiers

Blair Shehan

The Jealous Sound (The Militia Group)
Please welcome The Militia Group recording artist Blair Shehan of the Jealous Sound to the New Vintage Amplifiers family of players! After a successful stint fronting the band Knapsack (who was just recently ranked in SPIN Magazine's July 2009 article The Greatest Bands You've (Probably) Never Heard), in 2000 Blair formed The Jealous Sound with Pedro Benito (of Sunday's Best). After touring with such bands as Death Cab for Cutie, At The Drive-In, and the Foo Fighters, and releasing a couple of great records, The Jealous Sound more or less took a break for a few years starting in 2005. Not being able to stay away any longer, The Jealous Sound decided to jump back into the fray, releasing the EP Got Friends, booking a nationwide tour with recently reunited Sunny Day Real Estate, and beginning a new record. Blair is currently playing a Classic 77 in fawn with black hardware (custom model designed for Blair). Pedro Benito

The Jealous Sound (The Militia Group)
We'd like to formally welcome Pedro Benito of The Jealous Sound to the New Vintage Amplifiers roster of artists! A little bit about Pedro: after playing in the highly revered indie act Sunday's Best from about 1997 to 2000, Pedro and Blair Shehan decided to put together a new project, titled The Jealous Sound. Check out Blair Shehan's profile for more details on The Jealous Sound. Since recently reuniting and gearing up for their new record and a tour with recently reunited Sunny Day Real Estate, Pedro decided he needed a new amp. We couldn't be happier that we were able to help him out! Pedro is currently playing a H&B 50 in cocoa brown and fawn, and an NV2X12 in cocoa brown and wheat. Retribution Gospel Choir and New Vintage Amplifiers

Alan Sparhawk

Low, Retribution Gospel Choir
(Sub Pop, Caldo Verde Records)

New Vintage Amplifiers is proud to welcome Alan Sparhawk to the New Vintage Amplifiers family! Having recently celebrated their 16th year as a band, Low has had quite the career. Alan's other band, Retribution Gospel Choir, in its relatively short time of existance, has also experienced great critical success. They have toured with artists such as Mark Kozelek (Red House Painters) the Meat Puppets and Wilco. Alan has been a great friend since New Vintage's beginning, greatly assisting in the design of the Retribution 30 (hence the namesake). Alan is currently playing a Retribution 30 1x12 combo in fawn tolex. GB Leighton Band and New Vintage Amplifiers

Luke Kramer

GB Leighton (Independent)
How does a band sell over 80,000 records without the support of a major record label? Ask Minnesota based GB Leighton. It didn't come without a whole lot of talent and a ton of hard work, trust us. Touring all over the country, with the majority of their shows in the upper midwest, GB Leighton plays well over 200 dates a year. Luke and GB Leighton have shared the stage with such luminaries as Brad Paisley, Cheap Trick and the BoDeans (and those are just some of the recent ones). Luke is currently playing a Retribution 30 amplifier head in black and red taurus tolex with three different NV2X12 speaker cabinets. We're thrilled that Luke Kramer chooses to play New Vintage Amplifiers! For more information on Luke and GB Leighton, check out www.gbleighton.com

GB Leighton Band and New Vintage Amplifiers

Eric Lindberg

Buddy Miles, Eric & The Wreckage (Independent)
Mr. Eric Lindberg knows what it's like to fill BIG shoes; he's filled some of the biggest. Whose shoes? How about a guitar player named Jimi Hendrix? Yes, that's right, boys and girls. Being the touring guitarist for Jimi's former drummer Buddy Miles (who played in Hendrix's Band of Gypsys), Eric knows how it's done. Unfortunately, the world lost Buddy in February 2008, but Eric continues to play on. Releasing records under Eric & The Wreckage, and Eric Lindberg, Eric is constsantly working on and releasing new material. Playing a SA-45 2x10 combo in green and wheat grill cloth, Eric has this to say about it:

“After having spent a couple of months getting to know my new SA45, I can honestly say that it was all that I had hoped it would be. It is physically beautiful but most importantly, it is an instrument of the
highest order. As I mature, I begin to realize that making great music is very similar to making great food. The quality of the ingredients matter. They matter a lot. Attention must be paid to subtlety and great pains must be taken to make sure that the notes that you play are reproduced and colored in the best possible way. Ignore the SOUND and the music will suffer greatly. Rich, complex, guttural, angelic-this amp allows me to get the best possible sound regardless of what guitar I happen to be using. To keep with a food analogy, I now have an amazing stock. It's now that much easier to make an amazing soup.”
